How do I import reservoir simulation results?

You have several options to import reservoir simulation results as well performance data. You can either copy/paste the table into PetroVR Plan, create a link to an Excel workbook (see Working with Tables), or use PetroVR's Data Import / Export tools.

• To copy/paste, first copy the relevant range of cells in Excel. Then go to the Well Performance Tab. If the selected performance type is in table format you can right-click to paste the data.
• To create an Excel link, give the table a range name in Excel and click the Link to Excel button in the Well Performance Tab to select the file and range name.
• Finally, you can use the various Data Import / Export tools, such as Import VIP Well Summary or Import Eclipse Well Summary.

Importing data to a Table Performance Type gives you the maximum flexibility to subsequently modify initial rates and reserves, since it can handle dimensionless values.
